Many contracts let you raise your price each year, but only if you request the increase in writing by a set date. Under many of these contracts, if the date passes, that year’s increase is lost.

The loss does not stay in one year. Next year’s increase is calculated from the lower price, so the gap carries into every year that follows, for as long as the contract runs.

How it works

  1. Contracts in. You upload the recurring contracts you bill under.
  2. Terms and deadlines extracted. AI reads each contract and pulls out the escalation clause, the index it uses, any cap or floor, the notice requirement, and the deadline, with the page each term came from.
  3. Increase calculated. Plain, tested code applies the index to the current price, following the contract’s terms.
  4. Letter drafted. Escalate drafts a written increase request that cites the contract clause, ready for you to review and send.
